I have never liked the use “a Butt Load” to illustrate that whatever your talking about is a lot. Butt load sounds gross if you think about it. my theory is perhaps it was once said that it was “an Ass Load” Ass meaning the small donkey, and the loads they commonly had to carry. That makes more sense to me, and it makes sense that people could have changed it. Changed it from fear of the word ASS! Hahaha.
